WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOT HONEY ORIGINAL AND EXTRA HOT?
Both are food preparations based on acacia honey and chilli. Original uses Scotch Bonnet and is more balanced, aromatic and progressive. Extra Hot uses Trinidad Scorpion and is decidedly more intense and persistent.
WHICH ONE DO YOU RECOMMEND TO START WITH?
Hot Honey Original. It is the most balanced and versatile starting point for discovering Comasira’s.
IS ITALIAN REAPER JUST AN EXTREMELY HOT SAUCE?
No. Fresh Carolina Reaper is the star, but the recipe also includes tomato, apple, plum, apple cider vinegar, onion, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, herbs and spices. The goal is to combine heat, flavour, acidity and depth.
IS ITALIAN REAPER VEGAN?
Yes. Italian Reaper is vegan, gluten-free, preservative-free and colourant-free. For allergens and full information, always refer to the label.
WHERE ARE THE CHILLIES GROWN?
We directly grow the chillies that give the range its character: Scotch Bonnet, Trinidad Scorpion and Carolina Reaper. The project was born in Comasira, a hamlet of Bellano on Lake Como.

WHAT CAN I USE HOT HONEY ORIGINAL WITH?
Aged and alpine cheeses, charcuterie, boards, pizza, focaccia, burgers, grilled meat and creative cooking.
AND HOT HONEY EXTRA HOT?
Bold cheeses, pizza, focaccia, burgers, ribs and grilled meats. It is the right choice when you want a much more intense finish.
HOW DO I USE ITALIAN REAPER?
Burgers, ribs, chicken, sausage, grilled meat, vegetables, BBQ and marinades. It is very intense: start with a small amount and only increase after tasting it.
CAN I USE HOT HONEY ON PIZZA?
Yes. We recommend adding it at the end, once the pizza is out of the oven, so the contrast between sweetness, aroma and heat stays clear.
HOW SHOULD I STORE THEM?
Always follow the instructions on each product label, especially after opening.

In Italy, shipping costs €6 for orders under €25 and is free from €25. For international shipping, contact us before ordering for a quote.
HOW DO I GET FREE SHIPPING?
For shipping within Italy, simply reach €25 in your order. The cart clearly shows when the threshold has been reached.
